  • The final result of Vijaya Samudayik Shiksha Sadan students(from grade Nursery to grade 9) will be published on the 30th of Chaitra 2068. The result declaration programme will start from Sharp 7:00 am in the morning. All the parents(along with their kids) are requested to attend the result declaration programme.

  • लोडसेडिङ अवधि

    नेपाल विद्युत प्राधिकरणले सोमबारदेखि लोडसेडिङको अवधि घटाएर दैनिक बढीमा १० घण्टामात्र गर्ने तालिका सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। बिहानको समयको लोडसेडिङलाई प्राधिकरणले पहिलेभन्दा एक घण्टा कम गरेको हो। अहिले दैनिक दुई पटक लोडसेडिङ भइरहेको मा सोमबारदेखि हप्ताको एक दिन एक पटकमात्र बिजुली जानेछ।
    गर्मी सुरु भएर नदीमा पानी बढेको र कुलेखानी जलाशयमा जम्मा भएको पानीलाई प्रयोग गरेर प्राधिकरणले लोडसेडिङलाई घटाएको हो।
    चैत दोस्रो सातादेखि हुने एसएलसी परिक्षालाई समेत दृष्टिगत गरेर लोडसेडिङ घटाइएको प्राधिकरणले जनाएको छ। सोमबारदेखि हप्ताभरिमा ६२ घण्टामात्र लोडसेडिङ हुनेछ।
    बिजुली चोरी हुने स्थानहरुमा भने ५ घण्टासम्म थप लोडसेडिङ हुने समेत प्राधिकरणले जनाएको छ।

  • Antikythera mechanism (2000-year-old computer)

    The Antikythera mechanism is an analog computer that was used by the Greeks more than 2000 years ago to locate and predict the positions of celestial objects. When new, the device was made of bronze with a wooden frame and was roughly the size of a wall clock. The name Antikythera comes from the island near where the device was discovered in the remains of a shipwreck that occurred in or around the year 76 B.C

  • एसएलसीको दोस्रो दिन रुकुमकै परीक्षार्थीले छोरी जन्माइन्

    कमल थापा, रुकुम, चैत्र ८ – एसएलसी परीक्षाको दोस्रो दिन रुकुमकी एक छात्राले परीक्षा हलमै छोरी जन्माएकी छिन्। सदरमुकाम खलंगा स्थित वालकल्याण माध्यामिक विद्यालय सोलावांग केन्द्रबाट परीक्षामा सहभागी सुष्मा कुँवरले परिक्षाकै क्रममा छोरी जन्माएकी जिल्ला प्रहरी प्रहरी किशनसिंह थापाले जानकारी दिए। परीक्षामा सहभागी भएको १ घण्टा पछि छोरी जन्मेको हो। सुष्मालाई सहयोगी राखेर परीक्षा गराइएको छ। उनलाई थप एक घण्टाको समय थप गरिएको छ। यो सहित परीक्षा हलमा सुत्केरी हुने छात्रा ३ पुगेका छन्। हिजो पूर्वी रुकुमको तकसेरा परीक्षा केन्द्रमा सहभागी परिक्षार्थी रेखा घर्ती र प्वांगको नायगाड परीक्षा केन्द्रमा सहभागी कविता विक परीक्षा हलमै सुत्केरी भएका थिए .

  • The History of computer

    Computers have come a long way since the very first models. The earliest computers were the size of entire buildings. Innovations have continued to make computers faster and smaller. Below is a timeline that shows the rich history of the computer and the innovations around it.

    June 16, 1911 IBM was founded as the Computing Tabulating Recording Company, changing their name to International Business Machines in 1924.
    1938 Konrad Zuse invented the first first binary and freely programmable computer called the Z1 computer.
    1942 John Atanasoff and Cliffor Berry invented the ABC Computer.
    1944 Howard Aiken and Grace Hopper invented the Harvard Mark 1 computer.
    1945 The world’s first universal algorithmic programming language named Plankalkül is designed by Konrad Zuse between 1943-1945.
    June 30, 1945 The Von Neumann architecture (or Von Neumann model) is published.
    1946 John Presper Eckert and John W. Mauchly invented the ENIAC 1 computer.
    October 1946 Konrad Zuse started the first computer startup company Ingenieurbüro Hopferau.
    1975 MITS releases the Altair 8800 invented by Ed Roberts. He coins the term “Personal Computer”.
    April 4, 1975 Bill Gates and Paul Allen start Microsoft.
    April 1, 1976 Apple was started by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak.
    July 1, 1976 Steve Wozniak designed the Apple I and released it along with Steve Jobs.
    December 2, 1982 Adobe was started by Warnock and Charles Geschke.
    January 24, 1984 Apple releases the Macintosh computer.
    March 7, 1984 RIM was started by Lindsay Burger.
    August 24, 1995 The Windows 95 operating system is released.
    May 15, 1997 HTC was started by Cher Wang, HT Cho, and Peter Chou.
    September 4, 1998 Sergey Brin and Larry Page start Google.
    June 30, 1998 The Windows 98 operating system is released.
    March 31, 2000 The Windows 2000 operating system is released.
    December 31, 2000 The Windows Millennium operating system is released.
    March 24, 2001 The Mac OS X v10.0 operating system called Cheetah is released.
    September 25, 2001 The Mac OS X v10.1 operating system called Puma is released.
